I prefer Stanford to this because it's more complex and has more variety. Even though i found them similar, stanford comes out on top just because of his complexity and variety in emotion. Where John rutter's music is basically something out of a 1970's British Disney movie, Standford had real emotion behind his works. It's just my opinion. By the way i'm a former choral singer for saint Thomas in Manhattan.
